Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill (1883–1970) was an American self-help author whose masterwork Think and Grow Rich (1937) is among the best-selling books of all time, with over 100 million copies sold worldwide. Hill devoted more than twenty years to researching the habits and philosophies of over 500 of the most successful people in America, distilling their secrets into actionable principles anyone could follow.

Hill's "Philosophy of Achievement" outlined 13 steps to riches — from desire and faith to the subconscious mind and the "Master Mind" principle of surrounding yourself with like-minded achievers. His work was profoundly influenced by industrialist Andrew Carnegie, who challenged the young Hill to organize the world's first philosophy of individual achievement.

Beyond Think and Grow Rich, Hill authored The Law of Success, Outwitting the Devil, and Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude (with W. Clement Stone). His teachings form the bedrock of the modern personal development movement and continue to shape how millions approach goal-setting, persistence, and the psychology of wealth.
